Learn all about small cells technology – why it is needed, the planning and design process, as well as deployment challenges. This high-level presentation will provide knowledge of various small cell solutions and examine the role small cell deployments will have in the rollout of 5G.

Attendees will learn about small cells technology and the role it plays in maintaining a strong wireless network. While avoiding challenges when designing or installing various solutions is not realistic, there are steps that can be taken to help deliver connectivity in a cost-effective way. It is also important to consider the significant role small cell deployments will have in the rollout of 5G, as this level of performance will require an even greater infrastructure.

Prasad Bhandaru is an engineer with over 12 years of experience in the wireless industry. He is responsible for leading the delivery operations team for wireless services in North America. His team is responsible for developing innovative solutions and on-time project delivery. Prior to joining Cyient, Prasad worked with companies such as Sprint, Verizon, Samsung, Alcatel and TTM. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington as well as an MBA from the University of Maryland.
