This Telco Hybrid Line Powering cable is designed to meet the new network requirements for providing data via optical fiber and line powering via the copper twisted pairs in the cable. The small 0.79-inch (20.3 mm) profile of this design easily fits into a 1-inch conduit. The cable operates within a temperature range of -40⁰C to +70⁰C, provides a maximum tensile strength of 600 lbs., and incorporates 25 pairs of 22 AWG twisted copper pairs and up to 192 optical fibers. The core, 25 pairs of 22 AWG gel-filled copper, is surrounded by 16 gel-filled buffer tubes, each containing 12 optical fibers. The cable core is water blocked with super absorbent polymers and then encased in a steel armor. The outer jacket is sunlight-resistant MDPE.
