About Chris Pearson

Chris Pearson is the President of 5G Americas. In his executive role, he is responsible for the overall planning of the organization and providing management for the integration of strategy and operations in the areas of technology, marketing, public relations and regulatory affairs. As President of 5G Americas (formerly called 4G Americas), Mr. Pearson represents the organization’s Market Representation Partner interests within the 3rd Generation Partnership Program (3GPP) organization. Mr. Pearson led the organization from its inception in 2001 as the 3GPP family of technologies market share grew from 10 percent in 2001 to more than 95 percent in North, Central and South America. Mr. Pearson came to the organization from the Universal Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC) where he served as Executive Vice President in charge of the strategic executive management of the global TDMA wireless technology consortium. Prior to joining the UWCC, Mr. Pearson held several senior technical and marketing positions at AT&T Wireless and GTE. With more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Pearson is a recognized spokesperson in mobile wireless and 5G technology trends and has spoken at technology conferences throughout the world including CES, Mobile World Congress, CTIA Super Mobility, 5G World North America, IEEE 5G World Forum, 5G New Horizons Wireless Symposium and 5G Forum USA. Mr. Pearson earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphasis in Marketing and Finance from the University of Washington.


About Mark Nicholson

Mark Nicholson currently serves as an Emerging Technology Engineer with Verizon where he works with businesses to integrate cellular technology, solve security concerns, and join platform and cloud strategies. With over 20 years in telecommunications, Mark began his career working on top secret communication projects with the Central Intelligence Agency, later moving into the private sector building Wide Area Networks. As the wireless landscape evolved, he was able to integrate the wireline and wireless worlds to help drive businesses forward. Mark made a move to work with Verizon in 2008 where he supported the integration of 4G LTE and wireline networking. Now, working closely with the rollout of 5G, he brings a passion for adaptive thinking and integrating this leading-edge technology. Mark earned a Master of Business Administration from Baker University in Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He continues to complete various certifications and graduate courses and enjoys bicycling, hiking, snow shoveling, and reading a variety of literature from the library.


About Sarah Le Blanc

Over the past 20 years, Sarah has held a variety of technology/telecommunications sales, customer experience, and management consulting leadership roles. As Managing Partner at Verizon, Sarah currently leads a large organization of Solutions Architects and Client Partners who are driving emerging technology sales through our IoT Partner and new business agent channel program in 23 states. When Sarah began her career with Verizon at the end of 2016, she built and managed one of Verizon’s first Internet of Things (IoT) Principal and Distinguished Solutions Architects teams to support Verizon’s IoT Platform solutions go-to-market program. As well, Sarah designed and led a large organization of Solutions Architects, Engineers, and Business Operations resources that served SMB, large enterprise and government customers in the Great Lakes region with specialized focus in the areas of UCaaS, SaaS/Security, and IoT. As an industry leader in 5G and IoT, Sarah has been a keynote and guest speaker at multiple Google, MiAPPA, Cold Chain Global Forum, Ericsson, and Verizon Tech Roadshow Fourth Industrial Revolution events. As a dynamic entrepreneur, Sarah has a great passion for inspiring growth through innovation and helping businesses generate industry-leading business outcomes through emerging technologies. Sarah and her family reside in Chicago and enjoy adventuring outdoors, global travel, boating, and a variety of sports activities.
