Jeff Kessen is Senior Vice President of DC Power and Outdoor Enclosures at Vertiv and is responsible for operational excellence, engineering and product development for the telecom and data center space. Prior to joining Vertiv in 2018, Kessen spent eight years with A123 Systems, a lithium-ion battery manufacturer largely focused on the auto industry. Earlier in his career, he worked in other automotive businesses ranging from embedded controls for powertrains to vehicle chassis components. Kessen holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI) and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
