Adtran has announced that Oso Internet Solutions is using its broadband access technology to expand high-speed internet service across the Ramah Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico.

Oso Internet Solutions, a locally owned internet service provider, has deployed a fiber-led broadband network that combines fiber infrastructure with flexible last-mile access technologies to extend connectivity in a geographically remote area. The network is intended to improve access to online services for residents, businesses and community institutions while supporting future broadband expansion.

Adtran said it is supporting the deployment with broadband access technology, technical expertise and ongoing operational support. The companies have worked together on previous projects, and Adtran said the collaboration is helping simplify network operations while extending broadband availability to additional locations across the reservation.
