The FCC recently released its 2023 budget estimates for upcoming expenditures to, among other things, continue its efforts to make more spectrum available for 5G. They requested $132 million for FY 2023 to implement its spectrum auctions to support 5G services, which is a decrease of $2.26 million (or 1.7%) from the previous year.
