Mass fusion splicing is well established and has been used in telecommunications networks for three decades, traditionally limited to splicing of G.652 ribbons together. Recently, mass fusion splicing of dissimilar fiber ribbons has become more common. In this seminar, we will explore the unique features splicing these various fiber combinations brings as it pertains to mass fusion splicing and network testing and troubleshooting.

Billions of dollars in federal funding and regulatory requirements are accelerating the deployment of fiber optic networks throughout rural America.
