CommScope has announced the opening of its Fiber Architecture Solutions Technology (FAST) Track facility—an immersive, real-world fiber network environment designed to help service providers experience live fiber architectures in action.

Located in Catawba, North Carolina, the FAST Track facility is a fully operational fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network that serves as both a hands-on training center and an innovation hub. The facility enables service providers, contractors and partners to work side by side with CommScope experts to gain practical experience with installation techniques, product interoperability and network optimization.

“CommScope’s FAST Track facility represents the next step in helping service providers efficiently build and expand broadband networks,” said Michelle Hogan, VP Broadband NAR, CommScope. “The outdoor innovation and testing lab allows us to collaborate with customers in real-world conditions where we can help service providers and contractors shorten learning curves, accelerate design validation and test deployment strategies—ultimately reducing field time and improving rollout efficiency.”

“What an incredible visit to CommScope’s new FAST Track facility and manufacturing plant,” noted Danielle Marlow, Product Line Manager, Netceed. “Seeing real-world network deployments up close brought broadband innovations to life—showing how every connection we build makes a difference for our customers. Experiences like this sharpen our perspective as we help service providers design and deliver the networks of tomorrow.”

The FAST Track facility began hosting customer previews in October and officially opened on December 3, 2025 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony welcoming customers and partners. As service providers continue working to extend fiber broadband access to more communities, CommScope’s FAST Track plays a critical role in translating technology into real-world deployment success.

The facility is available for service providers and partners interested in booking a tour.
