Clearfield’s FiberFirst™ platform of pedestals provide physical fiber protection for delivering a turnkey passive solution; from the central office/headend to the final termination. Each FiberFirst pedestal provides an efficiently sized, cost-effective, non-metallic enclosure - meeting the industry standards for strength, reliability and environmental concerns.
These 6”, 8” and 10” and 12” pedestals consist of a two-part split base, removable dome cover and built-in backplane, offering 360 degree internal access, while engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, as well as UV, chemical and impact resistance. The built-in, multi-use rail system allows for universally mounting any product inside the pedestal. Intuitive cover securing feature along with an industry standard telco security screw (216) is used to attach and lock the cover to the base.
