AFL’s Fujikura 100S Core Alignment Splicer was the sole Platinum-level winner in the 2026 ISE Network Innovators’ Awards.

On the show floor at ISE EXPO 2026, ISE's Hayden Beeson congratulated AFL on receiving the Network Innovators’ Awards' highest honor before speaking with Megha Garlapati, product manager for splicers at AFL.

Garlapati provides a brief look at the 100S and explains how its dual-fiber preparation system allows technicians to load two fibers simultaneously. According to Garlapati, the streamlined process can reduce preparation time by approximately 40% while helping technicians achieve consistent, low-loss splices.
