Our first annual ISE Network Innovators' Awards program recognizes infrastructure/network innovations that help solve network operators' pain points across fixed and mobile networks. We're thrilled to announce the winners of this new ISE Magazine program.
Ise Network Innovators' Awards

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the highly anticipated new program by ISE Magazine. These awards recognize infrastructure/network innovations that help solve Broadband Service Providers (BSPs) pain points across the fixed and mobile networks.

Each product was evaluated and reviewed based on its introduction or enhancement in 2023 within the categories below:

  • FTTx/Optical Networks
  • 5G Mobile Infrastructure Evolution
  • Construction & Engineering/BEAD & Middle Mile Network Prep/GIS/Edge Networks/Cost-Containment
  • Workforce Solutions/Talent & Leadership Training/Professional Development/Upskilling
  • Power/Sustainability
  • Construction Digitization/Intelligent & Autonomous Networks
  • Network Reliability & Maintenance/Testing/Security/Damage Prevention/Safety
  • Contracting/EF&I/Project Management/Supply Chain
  • Network Systems & Architecture

Four independent market SMEs evaluated each product with their expertise in the technology or application. They rated each entry on the following scale:

  • 0-1.5: Not a particularly useful product.
  • 2.0-2.5: Okay, but perhaps a commodity product.
  • 3.0-3.5: Solid product, usually with at least one attribute that sets it apart from commodity products.
  • 4.0-4.5: Excellent product with technical features and performance that provide clear and substantial benefits.
  • 5.0: Superb product that demonstrates breakthrough performance and/or innovation.

Each Honoree will be announced at the ISE EXPO Network Innovators Award Breakfast held at ISE EXPO 2023 on Wednesday, August 30th.

We extend our warmest congratulations to the Honorees and appreciate the many individuals and teams behind these products who continue to push the boundaries of network evolution. Each Honoree has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to help Broadband Service Providers (BSPs) transform the fixed and mobile networks of the future.

Sharon Vollman is Editor-in-Chief of ISE Magazine. She oversees the strategic direction and content for ISE Magazine. She also leads the educational content development for ISE EXPO. Vollman has created educational partnerships with the major communications and entertainment providers including AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Frontier Communications and Cincinnati Bell. She has covered the telecom industry since 1996. Prior to that, she worked in advertising with Ogilvy & Mather and CME.
